Public Transportation
A single fare ticket (Einzelfahrschein) is valid for one person and a two hour journey through the city. Note: It is not allowed to travel towards the direction of the starting point. For that purpose a new single-ticket must be purchased.
A day ticket (Tageskarte) allows travelling during the whole day for as many trips as desired. Transportation fares for up to three children aged six to fourteen are included in the ticket price. The ticket is valid from its the day of its validation until 3 a.m. the following day.
Berlin Welcome Card
Unlimited travel on public transport either for zones AB (city centre) or zones ABC (city centre + surrounding areas including Schoenefeld Airport & Potsdam). Up to 50% discount at approximately 200 major sights and attractions. In Berlin you can buy your Berlin WelcomeCard at the Berlin Tourist Infos, at public transport sales points and in more than 200 Berlin hotels.
