Alex Karate
Alex had begun taking karate at Joe Corley's American Karate in Atlanta the previous year and had worked up to yellow belt. He tried to continue for a little while after we moved to Chicago but didn't like the instructor and so gave it up.
Thomas' Birthday
Thomas turned three in August in our new home in Aurora.
Halloween
There weren't many people in our new subdivision for Halloween so we went to the mall and collected candy
Christmas
We spent our first Christmas in Chicago with typical Chicago temperatures and snowfall.
