Having outgrown the house we had purchased in Aurora, Illinois in 1999 (and having lived there two years longer than we said we would when we moved to Illinois), we began the process in March of constructing a new house in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
By June, a foundation had been poured and construction was beginning.
As July began, our new home had begun to take shape.
A few weeks later, there was a roof overhead.
Late July brought out first interior visit for the pre-drywall meeting.
We stopped by in mid-August and the sales rep was showing our home to another couple as a model, so we were able to go inside and look around.
We finally were able to take possession of our new house in late September.
Six months later, our house had become a home.
