New Apartment and Car
As Thomas prepared to graduate from Georgia Tech, Janie and J. R. flew down to Atlanta to help him transition to 'adulting'. After driving him to choose his new apartment near Lindbergh, we then drove to a Ford dealer, where he purchased his first car, a 2019 Ford Fiesta.
Georgia Tech Graduation
Thomas joined his mom and dad as graduates of the Georgia Institute of Technology, although he is the only one who can claim he is a 'helluva engineer'.
Celebratory Dinner
Janie and J. R. hosted a celebratory dinner at STK Atlanta with Janie's dad, Alex and his new fiancee Bethany.
Georgia Tech
On Sunday, we helped Thomas move out of Woodruff Residence Hall, which had also been home for Janie and J. R. during part of their time at Tech. The adults took a stroll around campus one last time.
Apartment
Thomas moved into his new apartment on Sunday afternoon. His graduation gift was a sectional sofa/sleeper from Ikea.
