2021 Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game

In September, we drove up to Atlanta to attend the Alabama vs. Miami game at Mercedes-Benz stadium. We came up Friday night, stopping in Macon while Rebecca drove over from Tuscaloosa and stayed with Thomas at his apartment. We all met up at Thomas' place and took MARTA down to the stadium.

We walked around the pregame area and took in the Old Dominion mini-concert before the team walks. After a slow process of getting into the stadium, we found our seats and watched Bama roll over the Hurricanes.

After the game, MARTA was crowded. We went looking for something to eat nearby but everything had long lines. So we went back to Lindbergh, where we found a Thai place with great food.

Becca left the next morning for Tuscaloosa while we went to visit Janie's dad. Then we met up with Thomas at Joey D's Oak Room to celebrate his birthday (a few weeks late).
