Giordano's

Rebecca had been missing Chicago-style pizza so we visited our local Giordano's for a Chicago Classic. The pizza tasted like home even though the service was very slow with the waitress handling multiple tables and also bussing them.

Fourth of July

We had originally thought about going to Universal for the 4th but Becca did not want to, so instead we went to Top Golf. On July 5, we had lunch at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club and then went to Winter Summerland to play miniature golf.

The Beach

In September, we drove over towards the Gulf Coast to spend some time at Honeymoon Beach.

Better Than Sex

We planned a date night in September at "Better Than Sex", a dessert restaurant near Winter Park. J. R. opened with a "Milfshake", which included Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro poured over vanilla bean ice cream and served in a white chocolate and malted milk ball rimmed glass. Janie opted for wine served in a chocolate rimmed glass. For dessert, J. R. had the "Between My Red Velvet Sheets", a red velvet cheesecake on a double chocolate cookie dough crust. Janie decided on "The Fever", a warm airy chocolate cake full of body that's oozing a subtle chocolate pudding underneath, rubbing up against cool white vanilla bean balls.

Clermont

We took one of our evening walks in downtown Clermont after a dinner at Lily's by the Lake. We walked along the lake on the bike path and stopped on the pier at sunset.

Corn Maze

Missing our fall excursion to Jonamac Farms for apple picking, we decided to head to a local corn maze to at least get that part of the fall experience. We chose "Scott's Maze Adventures" and it did not disappoint. We largely ignored the map because it required special glasses to view and just wanted around the dinosaur-themed maze. We ate some mini donuts and picked up some kettle corn for the ride home.
