We flew down to Houston to celebrate the first birthday of Bennet Turner Gray, our first grandchild. Janie flew her mom in from Las Vegas to meet Bennet and she stayed with Alex and Bethany while we stayed with the Vuyk's. We met Alex, Bethany and Bennet for lunch when we arrived and then did a little party shopping at Target. Janie picked up her mom that night and got her settled in and the next few days were filled with party planning. J. R. was surprised when Lynne told him Janie was making the birthday cake, which came as a surprise to Janie as well. After a lot of struggled with the piping tips, she and Missy did an incredible job of creating a putting green for Bennet. The birthday boy enjoyed two days of eating cake for the first time as well as all of his presents.
