Buckeyes

2 pounds creamy peanut butter
3 pounds confectioners sugar
1 pound butter, softened
2 ounces paraffin wax (1/2 block)
24 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Cream together butter and peanut butter in large bowl
  2. Blend in Powdered sugar.
  3. Chill
  4. Roll into 1" balls and chill on cookie sheet
  5. Melt chocolate and paraffin together
  6. Using toothpicks and block of styrofoam, partially dip chilled balls into melted chocolate mixture to form buckeyes
  7. Invert toothpicks into styrofoam
  8. Chill for 30 minutes
  9. Remove from toothpicks
  10. Smooth toothpick hole with fingers.
  11. Store refrigerated
