2 pounds creamy peanut butter
3 pounds confectioners sugar
1 pound butter, softened
2 ounces paraffin wax (1/2 block)
24 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Cream together butter and peanut butter in large bowl
- Blend in Powdered sugar.
- Chill
- Roll into 1" balls and chill on cookie sheet
- Melt chocolate and paraffin together
- Using toothpicks and block of styrofoam, partially dip chilled balls into melted chocolate mixture to form buckeyes
- Invert toothpicks into styrofoam
- Chill for 30 minutes
- Remove from toothpicks
- Smooth toothpick hole with fingers.
- Store refrigerated
