Chicken Tenders

20 chicken tenders
6 cups canola oil
3 cups milk
4 large eggs
4 tablespoons hot sauce
4 cups self-rising flour
2 tablespoons kosher salt
2 teaspoons black pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Heat oil in deep fryer to 375°F
  3. Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a bowl and thoroughly mix
  4. In separate bowl, whisk milk, eggs, and hot sauce
  5. Season tenderloins with kosher salt and pepper before breading
  6. Toss each tenderloin in flour mixture, then soak in milk mixture, then put back in flour mixture
  7. Fry six to seven tenderloins in deep fryer for three minutes until golden brown
  8. Place fried tenders on a baking sheet and put in oven for 5-10 minutes until cooked through
