20 chicken tenders
6 cups canola oil
3 cups milk
4 large eggs
4 tablespoons hot sauce
4 cups self-rising flour
2 tablespoons kosher salt
2 teaspoons black pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Heat oil in deep fryer to 375°F
- Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a bowl and thoroughly mix
- In separate bowl, whisk milk, eggs, and hot sauce
- Season tenderloins with kosher salt and pepper before breading
- Toss each tenderloin in flour mixture, then soak in milk mixture, then put back in flour mixture
- Fry six to seven tenderloins in deep fryer for three minutes until golden brown
- Place fried tenders on a baking sheet and put in oven for 5-10 minutes until cooked through
