Monterrey Beach
We'd booked a little hotel along the beach in Monterrey for the night which gave the kids a chance to walk along the beach and play in the sand. We also ventured into town for lunch and checked out the sea lions at play.
Monterrey Playground
A small playground beckoned the kids as we left Monterrey, so we let them blow off some steam before the car ride up to San Francisco.
Golden Gate National Park
Before checking into our San Francisco hotel, we drove across the Golden Gate Bridge and took in the Bay view from the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
