Driving to Lake Tahoe
We left the Bay Area behind to begin the outdoors portion of our trip. Our drive took us through Sacramento and the El Dorado National Forest on our way to Lake Tahoe.
Driving around Lake Tahoe
Upon arrival at Tahoe, we took a quick drive around the lake and then stopped at a public beach to spend some time in the sand.
