We had flown in late on Saturday and got up early and drove into downtown Washington, D.C. We decided to park at the Reagan Federal Building, which was open to public parking on a Sunday and where we could get some breakfast. Then we walked up to the National Museum of American History which was our main target for the day.
After the museum, we walked over to the WWII monument, which hadn't been there the last time we had visited D.C.
We finished our day with a visit to the Lincoln Memorial and took some pictures of the Reflecting Pool and the Mall.
