Early entry was at Epcot so we went straight there from the hotel to get in some ride time and explore the park.
We had a late breakfast booked at Restaurant Akershus, which was a chance for Rebecca to hang out with more princesses and other characters and a chance for us to pig out on more food.
A family tradition is to visit Club Cool at Epcot, where Alex has to sample the Beverly, an apertif sold in Italy. This drink is very bitter but is required sampling before tasting the other Coca-Cola varieties at Club Cool.
After Epcot, we decided to get out of the parks for awhile and go to Downtown Disney. We thought about going to McDonald's for lunch but they did not accept the Disney Dining Plan and with all of the lunch credits we still had to spend, that wasn't going to work. But J. R. found the Earl of Sandwich, which was on the dining plan and it was a good find as the sandwiches there were quite tasty. We bought a few souvenirs at the Christmas shop, the toy store and World of Disney and Janie stocked up on bath bombs at Basin.
After dropping our stuff off at the hotel, we took the boat to Disney Studios where we watched the nighttime show, Fantasmic!
Thomas' birthday was tomorrow but we celebrated a little early by getting a late night ice-cream at Beaches and Cream at our resort.
