Relaxing Morning

For our last day on the ship, we had nothing planned and planned to do very little. We had breakfast in the Oceanview Cafe and headed to the Solarium to chill before some morning trivia and then the Q&A with the Summit's senior officers. That session should have just been with the Captain as most of the questions went to him, including a few truly strange ones, with the other officers saying very little. We then headed back to the stateroom to finish most of our packing before lunch.

We had lunch at the buffet and then some coffee at Cafe al Bacio (tea for Janie) and sat and talked for awhile before going back to the Solarium.

Trivia and Martinis

We did well at themed trivia and impressed RoXtar with our Rock n' Roll knowledge by taking first place in his History of Rock n' Roll trivia session, which was a lot of fun. Then it was back to the martini bar to tip Leo and his staff. He even made us a special place at the bar when there were no seats and he saw us sitting in the back. He did a mini flight pour for us and was just exceptional all week.

We considered skipping the evening show, Unique3, in favor of more martinis, but decided to go anyway. It was three women singing different genres, which was unique and they were good. After that we headed to dinner one last time. We struggled with the menu tonight. On "lobster night", then had so many good choices and all we wanted was lobster yet tonight, nothing really appealed. We wish they had saved the Beef Wellington or duck for another night. J. R. ended up with the turkey, which was overcooked.

After that it was upstairs to Sky Lounge for the last Silent Disco. It was there we had our most unusual encounter of the trip. A woman, obviously very drunk came up to us on the dance floor, asked what color she had on her headset and then stepped between us to demand we change our headsets to her color. J. R. told her to get lost and we didn't see here again. We danced for a bit and then sat down for a drink and listen to music. The evening dance party had a few too many drunk guests so we went to the room to finish up packing and prepare to disembark the next day.
