Since a lot of people were getting off the ship in Nassau, Janie had a chance to enjoy the hot tub while J. R. did a little reading in a lounger. We stopped by Future Cruise to put down a deposit on a 2025 trip to New Orleans, Roatan and Belize and then went back up on deck to relax some more.
After lunch in the buffet, it was getting a little warm on deck, so we went down to Cafe al Bacio where Janie tried the mint martini, which was too coffee-forward for her and not minty enough. So we headed to Cellar Masters for another wine for Janie and an old fashioned for J. R. and we sat and talked and enjoyed our drinks.
We listed to Jay play the guitar and sing in Rendezvous before dinner. He was very good. Janie was bemoaning the 60s / 70s selection but then he added in Train and Lady Gaga and it was impressive he could play so many songs that people were asking for from the audience.
The evening show was Soundtrack and it was once again a fabulous production. We actually went back after dinner to catch the last half of it, sitting in our same seats and got another fist bump from one of the singers as he came along the front row.
Dinner service slipped back a little tonight, especially again from the sommelier who never brought J. R. his drink. Maybe it is not his job to get any drinks besides wine, but one would think he would pass the order along to the assistant server or head server.
We went to the Silent Disco and danced for a while but something from dinner had not agreed with J. R. so we ended up sitting out the last part which was fine because the music had turned more towards house music anyway.
