One of the London sights that the kids wanted to see was the "London Eye", so despite our current apprehension about getting on anything that was associated with British Airways, we walked over to see what the lines looked like. Our guidebook had said the lines were usually very long, but they were not in this case, so we bought tickets and headed over to the queue. The London Eye, is the tallest Ferris wheel in Europe at 443 feet tall, and one of the tallest in the world and offers some very spectacular views of London. When we got up to the loading platform were ushered into one of the enclosed cabs (the Eye doesn't stop turning to let passengers on, but it moves so slowly that you have plenty of time to enter). It took about a half-hour to make it all the way around to the unloading dock.
