With no early entry planned for the morning, we drove over to Port Orleans for some morning beignets and breakfast before heading over to Epcot. Since FastPass only allows someone to reserve either TestTrack or Soarin', we opted to FastPass TestTrack and went to the stand-by line for Soarin' first thing in the morning. The line was about 20 minutes, but moved relatively quickly. We went next to TestTrack to get in a quick ride. This was another 20 minute walk-on, which made the early mornings worth it. Rebecca designed her car to be as powerful as possible, so channelling her inner Jeremy Clarkson, she amped up the power but J. R. managed to add some handling to the mix. Following Test Track, we decided it was time to sit down, so we took in Ellen's Energy Adventure, which was a walk-up. Rebecca wanted to ride Spaceship Earth next, but the line was around 40 minutes so we bailed on it since we had a FastPass for later in the day.
The Epcot Flower and Garden show was in full bloom, pun intended, so after a quick stop in Club Cool for some international Coca-Cola products, we visited the butterfly exhibit, walked around a few of the flower areas and then rode Journey into Imagination with Figment.
World Showcase was opening up and Rebecca wanted to do the Easter Egg hunt where you go through each of the countries and find character eggs they have placed in each country. We went first to Canada to watch the Canada 360 movie and spotted the first easter egg. From there it was on the England for some UK shopping and France for a photo with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
It was nearing lunch time, so we took the boat ride across the lagoon back to Future World where we heading to the Living Seas to ride the Nemo and Friends ride and look at the fishes before heading to lunch at the Coral Reef, where we would eat the fishes.
That put us close to our FastPass time for Spaceship Earth, so we walked through a couple of shops then rode through the golf ball. After a quick stop in another shop, it was time for our Test Track FastPass. We were happy to see that now the FastPass queue gets to do the car design phase. Rebecca went for 'more power' again, this time designing a car that ended up on the final tote board as one of the most powerful of the day.
We did some shopping in MouseGear, then it was time for our FastPass for Mission: Space. Janie doesn't like this ride, but rode it anyway.
After Space, we went back to World Showcase to continue our egg hunt. We made it to Mexico, Norway and China, but by then, our feet were getting pretty tired. We thought about making it Illuminations, but the idea of standing around for an hour wasn't appealing, so we walked back to the entrance and our car and went back to the hotel, where Rebecca headed back to the pool for some more relaxation time.
