Goleta State Park

Rebecca's time in Santa Barbara was coming to an end, so that meant an early morning drive back up there to pick her up. Traffic was light so we made good time and stopped at IHOP in Santa Barbara for breakfast. Then we headed to Goleta State Park and found a bench near the shore and sat and talked while staring at the water.

Santa Barbara

With some more time to kill, we decided to walk around the University a little more, taking a walk down to the lagoon on campus.

Wolf Wigo's Water Polo Camp

When we got back to the pool, a scrimmage was ongoing, so we sat down and watched Rebecca score a couple of goals. She grabbed some food at the barbecue and ate it with her new friends and then we hopped in the car for the ride back to Anaheim. Traffic wasn't quite as bad as earlier in the week, but we still sat in standstill traffic on I5 for quite awhile.

California Adventure with Becca

Our plan was to head straight to the parks so Rebecca could get in as much time as possible, but she was waylaid by the Sprinkles cupcake shop, so we had to stop in for a quick cupcake. Then it was off to California Adventure. Janie and Rebecca headed off to Guardians of the Galaxy while J. R. went to get FastPasses for Incredicoaster. While he was there, he rode the coaster in the single rider line. He also walked over to Soarin' and got FastPasses for that as well. The ladies met J. R. at Pixar Pier and we all rode the Incredicoaster. The lines for other Pixar Pier rides were very long, so we decided to go to Little Mermaid, since Becca really wanted to ride that one. Then it was off for some chicken fingers and Soarin'. We made another run through Incredicoaster and made a stop at Animation where Janie bought a couple of ornaments. We finished off with dinner at the Grand Californian and headed back to the hotel.
