Magnolia Market in Waco
Since Alex was working, we decided to drive north to Waco and visit Magnolia Market at the Silos. Becca and Janie enjoyed cupcakes and cookies from the bakery before we toured the market.
Baylor, Shopping and Dinner
We drove through Baylor University, which was too small (and too Baptist) for Becca's taste before driving back towards Austin. We stopped at a burger joint in Temple for lunch and then made a quick stop in San Marcos so Becca could do some more outlet shopping. We met Alex at his apartment after school and then he and Bethany took us to dinner at Whiskey Cake in North San Antonio. We said goodbye to our son again and drove to our hotel in downtown.
