No Day at Castaway Cay
Today was a bit of a disappointment since we had booked this cruise specifically for the visits to Disney's private experiences. Yesterday had been cut short by the wind and rain and this morning the Captain tried three times to bring the ship into Castaway Cay before declaring he could not dock and we would remain at sea. The three tries took up most of the morning so we were sitting around our room waiting.
Trivia
We did the Advanced Marvel trivia and did okay but there were a few questions we had no idea about as they were from Eternals which we had not seen.
Stem to Stern Wine Tasting
In the afternoon, we had the Stem or Stern Wine Tasting. We sampled several wines, including a French Pouilly-Fuisee, a Selbach Oster Reisling Spatlese, a King Estate Pinor Noir from Oregon and a Rains Amarone from Sonoma.
On the Ship
We ended up spending our time on the ship instead of the island and tried to make the most of it.
Ooh La La
We finally had a chance to have a drink in Ooh La La where J. R. has the "Prestige" and Janie got a drink with a big smoke bubble on it.
Dinner
We rejoined our tablemates tonight for our last dinner of the cruise and spent our time talking about what we enjoyed about the ship and the cruise.
Leaving the Fantasy
We did the express walk-off the next morning and got in our car for our drive back to Orlando, happy to have had a few days away even if the islands had been disappointing.
