It was a late arrival into Charlotte Amalie so we had some time for breakfast and relaxation in the Thermal Spa suite in the morning before our excursion.
We sailed past the Disney Fantasy and an MSC ship and docked at a different port than we had the last time we were in St. Thomas. We were surprised we didn't have to go through immigration in the morning like we had on past trips. We met our excursion host on the dock and walked past the lizards on our way to our catamaran.
We boarded the turbo catamaran and were glad we had gotten to the meeting point early because we were able to get seats inside. As the captain took the ship out to sea, huge waves came over the side, soaking the passengers on the outside (and Janie a little since she was sitting by one of the open windows).
The captain anchored the boat and Janie got into her snorkeling gear and headed down the stairs into the water while J. R. watched from the deck. She located a sea turtle and took some video of it and saw some other fish as well.
The captain took the Sabrage to another location near a beach and Janie dove off the back of the boat into the water and enjoyed a drink while talking to some of the people who had been seated next to us on the boat. J. R. decided to stay on the boat and listen to the music and drink.
The Sabrage took us quickly back to the port and when returned to the ship, J. R. went to get some food and found the Mast Grill was already closed and the buffet was closing in five minutes. He managed to get some pizza from the buffet and some empanadas and brought those down to the room with some sodas. After quick showers, we headed down to the martini bar to listen to some music. We decided to skip the show in favor of a drink at World Class and meeting up with our Sabrage ship mates for a drink at the martini bar before dinner.
