Hanging Out At The Hampton Inn

We left Chicago at o'dark-thirty on 22 December for our flight to Ft. Lauderdale with a long layover in Atlanta. Our flight left Chicago on time and we found our favorite restaurant in Atlanta airport for some fried chicken and biscuits before walking back to Concourse A through the underground walkway and the multi-million dollar 'jungle' theming of the moving walkway. Our flight to Ft. Lauderdale left on time several hours later and we claimed our bags and called for the hotel shuttle which arrived just a few minutes later and arrived at the Hampton Inn Airport South. We dropped our bags at the hotel, which had only one working elevator, but they had already "apologized" for that via sign, so we didn't question it any further. We walked through a strip mall to Miller's Ale House for some dinner before settling in for the night.
