Grand Cayman

The Beyond pulled into George Town, Grand Cayman early in the morning. It had been a long time since we had been to this port. We had been scheduled to come in March 2020 but that trip was cancelled just a few weeks before due to the pandemic. We had breakfast at the buffet and then waited in the theatre for our excursion to be called and then headed to the tender boats.

Dolphinarus

After a quick bus ride, we were at Dolphinarus for our long-awaited chance to play with the dolphins. We donned our life vests and waded into the water where the trainer taught us several behaviors to perform with the dolphins, including getting a kiss from them. We were allowed to pet them as the swam by as well.

Beach

After purchasing our photos and having some sodas while watching the dolphins swim and play, we were bussed to the famous Seven Mile Beach, which was a let down. The club we were taken to did not really have any beach to speak of and you had to climb down a set of stairs to access the water. But we sat in the shade and watched the water anyway.

Night on the Beyond

After returning to the ship and showering and changing, we hit the bars, stopping first at the Martini Bar and then visiting World Class again. The show tonight was Savannah Smith, who we had just seen on the Summit, so we decided to skip that in favor of another early dinner in Blu and more time hanging out at the World Class Bar. We don't like the Celebrity 80's Flashback game show, preferring they would just play 80s music, so we chose to just keep drinking.
