The Seven Sisters
The Suitor

14 Night Norwegian Fjords & Arctic Circle Cruise
We had finally reached our final destination in Norway, the small village of Geiranger at the end of the Geirangerfjord.
We had booked a 75-minute fjord sightseeing tour through Geiranger Fjordservice and it was a disappointment. They loaded more people onto the boat than there were seats available so people stood in front of us and there was no room to move around to see the views on the opposite side of the vessel. In addition, since our cruise ship came through the same fjord, we got the same views on sailaway from the ship as we did on the tour. We did cruise past the Seven Sisters, Suitor, Bringefossen and Bridal Veil waterfalls as well as several fjord farms. They offered an audio commentary on their app but it turned out to be the same commentary they were playing on the loudspeaker on the boat.
We considered taking the hop-on bus to explore more of the area after our tour but instead decided to get back on the ship and go to the Sea Thermal Suite to enjoy the views from the heated stone loungers.
We watched the sailaway from our verandah while finishing our sparking wine and doing some packing. Janie was enamored with the collapsible dock they used to allow larger ships to dock at Geiranger.
After dinner in Blu, we settled in at the Martini Bar for a few drinks from our favorite bartenders and the nightly chandelier show.
