On Wednesday, we headed to Universal Studios to check out the new "Wizarding World of Harry Potter" at Universal Studios. One advantage of staying on-site at Universal was early entry to the Harry Potter area and front-of-the-line privileges. So we headed straight back, where Janie and Rebecca got in line for Olivander's wand shop while J. R. and the boys headed for the Harry Potter ride. Following that, we all went back through the Harry Potter ride before the boys and Janie headed off to Dueling Dragons (or whatever the call it now) and J. R. and Rebecca took a few turns on the Flying Hippogriff. Then J. R. and Rebecca enjoyed frozen butterbeer while waiting for the others to finish up on dragons.
After visiting some of the shops, we toured the rest of the park, starting in Dr. Seuss land, then working our way around the rest of the Islands.
The adults opted out of the water rides, and we were thankful as the kids came back from their soaking ride on the log flumes and raft ride.
For lunch, we went off-site to Moe's Southwest Grill and then spent a little time at the pool before having dinner at Emeril's Tchoup Tchoup in our hotel.
