Atlantis
We pulled into Nassau, Bahamas on June 28. Janie and the kids had plans to head off to Atlantis to visit the water park there. J. R., not being a fan of waterparks and trying to save some money decided to stay on the ship and relax.
Afternoon on the Dream
After getting back from Atlantis, we toured the ship to take some photos and to play the Midship Detective Agency game where you look for clues in photos on the midship decks to try to solve a mystery.
Pirate Night
It was 'pirate night' on the ship. I had mentioned to Johnathan in Guest Services earlier in the week that Rebecca's pirate costume was in our missing green suitcase and she was bummed on not getting to wear it, so he surprised us by providing her one from the gift shop as well as a pair of Captain Jack Sparrow hats for the boys. We had a special menu for pirate night and then went on deck to watch the show and the fireworks. On a previous Disney cruise, there was a dessert buffet but we didn't see much of one on this cruise, which was disappointing.
