We got up and packed up most of the room then headed to breakfast before going to General Knowledge trivia. One of the questions was "what is Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia" and J. R. jokingly said "fear of long words", not knowing that was the answer. A guy next to us got mad and said "Don't shout out the answers" and we said it was just a joke and it was just trivia and his wife said trivia is a "blood sport". So J. R. said the next two answers out loud and made up a few others along the way and the guy was quiet after that and his wife apologized at the end. The prize for the "blood sport" was a pack of playing cards, as usual.
We attended the Captain's Club wine tasting, which was much better than we had in the past, perhaps because the head sommelier was giving the talk. He gave us a good tip on using our thumb on the glass to see the color of the wine in a dark restaurant and J. R. added that if you see two thumbs, you've had too much to drink.
After wine tasting and lunch in the buffet, we visited the bars again in the afternoon.
Our dinner tonight was the Chef's Table and we were joined by a lovely pair of sisters from South Africa by way of Boston and were treated to an excellent tasting menu and great conversation. Janie and one of the ladies did the optional wine pairing while J. R. had an old fashioned.
The final show of the week was Residency with the production cast of singers and dancers, which featured songs from various Las Vegas residencies. After that, we went to the Martini Bar for the Silent Disco and ended our cruise in Craft Social with Anush and Leo.
