Back to Sydney

The 21st was the last of our travel days around Australia. We had a direct Virgin Australia flight from Cairns to Sydney, which was nice, and it was not too early of a start so we had time to have breakfast at our hotel and repack our bags before getting a cab to the airport. The cab driver went to the wrong address and we had to call him back and then we had to put up with his MAGA radio program all the way to the airport, something we did not expect to hear in Australia.

We landed in Sydney around 3 and caught a cab back to the Rydges Sydney which seemed dumpier after a few days at the Flynn. We dropped off our bags and walked over to Crystalbrook Flynn to find the Australian Wine Center where Janie bought a couple of bottles of Australian wine. Then we walked back to a different street cafe for drinks and dinner and then walked around awhile before returning to the hotel as Janie had an early morning job interview the next day.
