We finished packing our bags and went down to Blu for one last breakfast with our serving team and Janie got one last Diet Coke over ice served to her. Walk-off was called while we were at breakfast so we went back up to our room, gathered our bags and went to deck 4 to scan off the ship one more time. We ordered an Uber and by the time we got to the pickup point, our ride was waiting to take us to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. We dropped our luggage off at the bellhop and wandered around for a bit before the pool opened at 8AM. We found a couple of loungers in the shade. J. R. went and found some drinks and candy bars at the ABC store and relaxed until around 2PM when we got the notification our room was ready. He stopped and bought himself a new rashguard at a shop on our way back to the room.
We got to our room in the Rainbow tower and called down to get our bags but after a half-hour, we gave up and decided to head to lunch at a taco place near the hotel. It was short walk, but a hot one, but the tacos and appetizers were good, even if the music was a little loud. We wandered through the village on the way back where Janie bought a shirt, and we bought some cookies and also some drinks for the evening. When we got back to the room, our luggage was waiting so we opened up the bags to repack for the plane flight home and then we relaxed in the room and watched TV and looked out at the ocean from our room.
We went down around 6PM to walk around the resort a bit more and watch the sunset. We were surprisingly hungry so we decided to split a burger and fries at one of the hotel restaurants since we had a food and beverage credit. We returned to our room and caught the last of the sunset and then settled in for the night with an early morning and a day of flights ahead of us.
