We had to take an early morning Uber from the Hilton to Honolulu airport. After agricultural inspection and baggage check, we made the long walk to our gate. Nothing was open but J. R. found a vending machine to pick up some sodas and candy bars. Our flight to Los Angeles was on-time and we had six hours to kill in LAX. After sharing a pizza at the only place we could find near our gate, we sprung for day passes to the Admiral's Club so we could get sodas and coffee and snacks and relax. The Club was relatively empty and aside from some loud talkers, we were able to relax and recharge our batteries (and electronics). Our flight to Orlando also left on time and we got lucky as there was an empty exit row so the man on the end moved over to that side and we had a middle seat empty between us. We landed at MCO, got our luggage and Becca met us at the baggage claim to give us a ride home, where J. R. had to get straight to work.
