J. R. was up early and headed to breakfast and then to the Persian Garden to enjoy the sauna and heated loungers. Janie tried to get breakfast but the buffet was very crowded so she found some yogurt at the Spa Cafe and then met J. R. in the Solarium.
After an exasperating call with Guest Services the night before, we had our hot glass class. We called to reserve our class and guest services told us we had to call the hot glass team directly, which made us wonder what purpose Guest Service had. Then they called us back and told us we could book directly with Guest Services.
Janie went first and decided to create a glass vase. The lead glass blower started working with her by blowing a ball of glass and then showing her how to shape it to create the vase, then pull the glass to make the open portion. Then it was J. R.'s turn. He chose to make a simpler blue paperweight.
After lunch in Oceanview, we spent the afternoon relaxing after a hectic few days of travel and excursions in Australia. We took a Batchata class with Mona from the activities team and had a drink in Passport bar and then found our way to the Martini Bar. We shared a seating area with a couple named John and Sue and spent some time before the show and dinner chatting with them about their time in Austrailia and ours.
Tonight's show was Topper, which was another of Celebrity's odd shows with a strange theme but good music. We have to say this was not one of our favorite shows as the music and singing seemed a little off from what we have come to expect. But it was still an enjoyable evening.
We went back to Blu after the show for dinner. We had some delicious scallops and J. R. had a great crab bisque. The rack of lamb was very good as well.
