Another Day at Sea
We were finally coming to the end of our string of sea days as we approached French Polynesia. It was another lazy morning of breakfast, solarium, drinks by the pool and trivia before lunch.
Following lunch, we had a "Captain's Club Backstage Tour" planned. We had no idea what this was and were pleasantly surprised when we were handed champagne or mimosas and seated in the theater where two of the singers and one of the dancers came out to answer questions. They then split us into three groups and Kelsey took us on a tour of their dressing rooms and the costume room and then out on stage.
World Wine Tour
Immediately after the backstage tour was our world wine tour, which was an example of how Celebrity scheduled everything back-to-back when it probably was not necessary. We weren't happy with the layout in Cellar Masters as it was hard to get in and out of our seats to get up to taste the wines. We also felt rushed because of the number of wines and the need to get up and taste each one and we didn't get a lot of information about the wines. But we had a good conversation with another couple from Florida and enjoyed the wines.
Drinks and Show
We were back in our normal spot in the martini bar in the afternoon before we went off to see the evening show, which was an All-Star Variety Show featuring Yoomia, Chantelle Delaney and Danny Elliot, who we had seen earlier in the week. They put on a good show separately and also playing a few songs together.
Back in Blu
We returned again to Blu for dinner. The Snow Crab Avocado Timbale was good but the chowder was thin. Janie enjoyed the lamb shank, although they brought her half a lamb. J. R. found the Pumpkin Gnocchi to be chewy, however. We did finally remember to take a photo of more "Art or Furniture" outside Tuscan Grille.
Groove 60s Party
We met up with John and Sue in Passport Lounge and had a drink before the 60s pop-up party by the singers and dancers in the Grand Foyer then went and had another drink before calling it a night.
